Photographer Tony O’Shea documented the sale of turkeys on Dublin’s Mary’s Lane between 1990-93. Then, one year, he went back and the market was gone, most likely a victim to updated food regulations. This book is a collection of photographs from those years.
About the Artist:
Tony O’Shea is an Irish photographer hailing from Dublin. He is one of the most highly respected photographers working in Ireland for many years. His photographs have appeared in a wide variety of publications, including The Sunday Times and (London) Independent Magazines, The Guardian, Creative Camera, In Dublin, the Sunday Business Post and Liberation. He has exhibited widely in Ireland, France and the United States.
