We published Teeny Words, which follows on from the Noughtie Words book we published in 2004 – a random collection of word (and images) that we hoped would be a time capsule for a period that appeared on the cusp of change. In the period since Noughtie words we have seen many changes. The one constant over this period has been the growing ubiquity of technology and the increasing role it plays in our lives.

Noughtie words was published at a time that was before smartphones and ‘social’ media, cloud computing and everyday applications of AI. In selecting our ‘Teeny’ words we tried to avoid judgement and simply observe the words and ideas that appear to speak to the concerns and distractions (profound or trivial) of this decade.
