“The scenes were accidental, no conscious intentions, I’d pick up the camera and go out the door, I would travel with families, friends, lovers and it is a diary of sorts. Over the 4 years of shooting lots of things changed personally, but I never looked at the images really while shooting. Going back to edit I had around a 1000 frames, and it was interesting to me to see what was there. Maintaining the mood in the edit was a case of recalling the feelings I had while shooting and trying to imagine that all the events had happened in one dream.”
