Ash is the teenage son of the foxy couple starring “Fantastic Mr. Fox”, a film by Wes Anderson based on the book with the same title by Roal Dahl. Kamila fell in love with the teen fox, and took screenshots throughout the whole movie, whenever the character appeared. Something like teenagers hanging posters of their fancied celebrities in their rooms, only much more obsessive.
About the artists:
Xavier Fernández Fuentes was born 1980 in Barcelona. Studied Graphic design in Barcelona and London before graduating at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Currently based in Amsterdam and working autonomously in commissions and self initiated projects. Previous work experience includes studio Ruiz+Company in Barcelona, and studios Mevis en van Deursen and Maureen Mooren in Amsterdam. Running an independent publishing project—Centerfold Editions—since 2011. Xavier Fernández Fuentes died on April 17, 2017.
