“This issue started out as a blog founded during the editors stay in Osaka and executed in collaboration with the photographer Hisako Nakagawa. The blog started with one image from Osaka and photographers were invited to post images to the blog that were linked in some way to the previous image through similar aspects like form or subject. The chain of association is reprinted in this issue as grids of small, lyrical images.”
